The Rate Policy:
Cranes:
Local 150 Straight Time working hours are Monday through Friday
7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Each crane used with our Local 150 Operating
Engineers will have an hourly minimum. All minimums begin
at 7:00a.m. (Mon. - Fri.) and are portal to portal.
If a crane leaves before 7:00 a.m., you will be billed the minimum
plus the time for leaving early. All rentals will incure a 3% fuel
surcharge.
Small Cranes:
Four hour minimums will be applied to all cranes ranging between
30-40 tons. A ½ day rental is when the crane leaves
our yard at 7:00 a.m. and returns by 11:00 a.m. Rentals on
site past 1:00 pm will be invoiced through the end of the day (3:30
pm) or until the crane returns to the yard, whichever is later.
Large Cranes:
8 Hour minimums will be applied to all cranes ranging between 60-500
tons. These cranes can only travel from sunrise to sunset (Mon.
- Fri.). On Sat. these cranes can travel from sunrise until
noon. These cranes are not permitted to travel from noon Sat.
until sunrise Monday morning.
2nd Run:
Also known as a "Quick Pick", can be done for a flat fee
of $420.00 between the ours of 10 am and 2 pm, no longer than 1
hour, no swinging of the jib, and at our discretion.
Overtime:
Overtime applies to anything before 7:00 a.m., 12-12:30 p.m., after
3:30 p.m., weekend work, & holidays. An Overtime rate
of an additional $90.00/hr. will be added to the regular rate on
30-40 ton cranes. An Overtime rate of an additional $180.00/hr.
will be added to the regular rate on 60-500 ton cranes.
Permits:
Abnormal permitting or excessive travel may increase costs associated
with Freight & Permit fees. Travel permits are based on
a state and village fees and may vary from city to city. LaGrange
Crane can obtain City Of Chicago street permits and local permission
permits. Chicago street closure permits take 2-5 days to obtain.

Other:
An assist crane will be required if more jib is needed than is stored
on the side of the crane. We carry $10 million in insurance,
are OSHA certified, and employ Local 150 Operating Engineers.
All cranes come with an assortment of rigging. Please inform
us if special rigging is required.
